This utility changes all of the
alphanumeric characters sent to the
screen to either cursive or italics!
It doesn't work with all software,
but with "normal" programs it renders
interesting effects.
Using this program is simple. First,
you are presented with a small menu.
Press the number of the selection you
would like (italic, script, or return
to LOADSTAR).
If choose not to return to LOADSTAR
then your screen turns into garbage.
Don't worry, this is normal.
At this point, the program changes
the characters, one by one, as it
reads them from the disk drive.
When all of the characters have been
changed, notice you are given examples
of each variation of the print style.
The italic's cursor becomes an empty
block and the cursive's cursor becomes
a "Smiley" face.
To change the characters back to
their original state, press
RUN/STOP/RESTORE.
NOTE: Because of the nature of this
program, it does NOT return to the
LOADSTAR environment.

DAVE'S NOTE: This program comes from
LOADSTAR #019 -- ancient by our
standards. However, the fonts were
nice and the presentation interesting.
AND, I needed something smaller than
60 blocks to tidy up this side on the
1541 version.
The GET#4 load method is quaint, to
say the least. I copied each font as
an "F." file, which is compatible with
font designers and Mr. MICK.
Strange -- the program could not
return to LOADSTAR. I guess folks
weren't doing fonts all the time back
then. If I have time before shipping,
I will take a look and make this
little beauty more LOADSTAR Quality.
